SUMMARY:Junior Analysis Seminar – Pierfrancesco Martini (GSSI)
DESCRIPTION:Title\nThe Maxwell Equations on Myers–Perry Black Holes\nAbst
ract\nEinstein’s Equations of General Relativity can be formulated in mo
re than (3+1) dimensions. Of particular interest both from the mathematica
l and astrophysical point of view is the conjectured nonlinear stability o
f (4+1)-dimensional stationary (spherical) vacuum black holes. Maxwell’s
Equations represent a natural intermediate model to be studied towards th
e comprehension of this problem: this talk will deal with some fundamental
features\, challenges and consequences of Maxwell’s theory formulated o
 n a (4 + 1)-dimensional Myers–Perry black hole spacetime.\nPlease note t
hat the seminar will take place in person in room 140 of Huxley Building.\
