Step into the SAF building Discovering Worlds Zone to witness a model of an active volcano, to play laser chess and to say hello to a giant mosquito.

You’ll think and learn about exploring our solar system using radar technology - and why not break some magnets to learn more about physics?

The Discovering Worlds Researchers will be there on hand to answer your questions and even help you build a Lego ethoscope as you discover the amazing world of flies.
You’ll leave inspired and wanting to discover more as you continue your festival journey and take a closer look at the world around you.
