Student Challenges offers you the opportunity to showcase your research and to win prize money to fund your global health project.
Each year, IGHI hosts a Dragon’s Den-style event to find the winner.

We welcome applications from any UK-based university students. Projects can cover any aspect of global health innovation, such as improving hygiene or developing diagnostic tools for use in remote areas.
The Institute will offer prize money to winners, with £10,000 up for grabs.
How to enter
To enter, you will need to complete an application form and submit a 2-3 minute compulsory promotional video illustrating your project idea and how it works. You can submit your application from 7 January 2020. The deadline for applications is 11:59pm on 9 February 2020.
ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Complete the form with as much detail as possible.
2. Create a 2-3 minute video to illustrate your project idea and how it works. Please be as creative as you can as this will go towards the shortlisting decision and may also be shown at the Dragon’s Den event if you are a finalist.
3. Submit your application form and a link to your video no later than 11:59pm on 9 February 2020. All entrants will be contacted once a shortlisting decision has been made.
