Call for Workshop Proposals
The Hamlyn Symposium on Medical Robotics 2020 ‘Surgery and beyond’ will be held 20-23 June 2020. The conference provides an annual forum for surgeons and engineers from across the globe to network and explore the latest developments in medical robotics.
The symposium will also host a number of satellite workshops on 20th and 23rd June 2020. The symposium has gained a prominent reputation for presentations, discussion and demonstrations of cutting-edge clinical practice and emerging technologies in robotic surgery. The workshops provide an opportunity to explore some of these topics in greater focus, including diverse subjects that focus on technological innovation with a strong emphasis on clinical translation, resulting in direct patient benefits with global impacts.
Proposals for full or half day workshops can be submitted to the conference organisers via this online form. The deadline for workshop proposals is 15th January 2020. You need to provide an outline of the workshop session, a list of international speakers you plan to invite and a budget outlining the proposed running costs.
HSMR Sponsor & Exhibitor Pack
Thank you for your interest in sponsoring and/or exhibiting at the Hamlyn Symposium on Medical Robotics which has been run by the Hamlyn Centre for Robotic Surgery for over a decade now.
The symposium has grown in prestige over that period and now reaches an international audience of 550 delegates with clinical, scientific and engineering expertise. Its focus is the discussion and demonstration of cutting-edge clinical practice and emerging technologies in robotic surgery.
Led by Professor the Lord Ara Darzi and Professor Ferdinando Rodriguez, this year’s Symposium entitled “Surgery and Beyond” will be held at the Royal Geographical Society between 20th and 23rd June 2020.
We have received full CPD accreditation from the Royal College of Surgeons for the 2020 Symposium and to complement this we are planning a programme with increased focus on clinical practitioner centred talks, workshops and presentations. RCS is a well-recognised provider of CPD accreditation which aids participation and engagement by clinical practitioners.
The Hamlyn Symposium on Medical Robotics (#HSMR2020) offers opportunities for prospective partners to gain exposure and the ability to showcase new platform designs and allied technologies on medical robotics and focuses on the clinical practice of robotics surgery, economic and patient care considerations.
Your organisation can take advantage of an extended period of exposure during the lead up to the symposium and beyond. This period will involve sustained promotion of the symposium and sponsors through a range of channels including press releases, social media activity and other publicity driven opportunities.
