The Employee Relations team is responsible for managing formal procedures related to disciplinary cases, restructures and redundancies, formal performance management procedures and grievances.

In addition, the Head of Employee Relations is responsible for developing policies and procedures related to these processes and working with stakeholders across the College to ensure that they are effective and compliant with College policy and strategy, and with any legal or regulatory requirements.  The team supports decision makers (such as disciplinary panel chairs) in ER cases, providing expert advice and guidance on employee relations issues to all faculties and support services.

Support for staff involved in these processes is provided by the Staff Hub or Strategic Support team, ensuring a demonstrable separation of duties between the effective management of the processes and adequate support for those directly affected.

The Employee Relations team is based on Level 3, Faculty Building, South Kensington Campus with Advisers also available at Hammersmith and St Mary’s campuses. 

The Employee Relations team is led by Ann Kelly (Head of Employee Relations).
