Summer Party 2016

The Social Committee is always looking for exciting events for staff.

The Support Services Committee organised the termly visit to see a West End show on Wednesday 6 March 2019 to see ‘Come From Away’ at the Phoenix Theatre.  40 staff enjoyed a fantastic show costing just £32 each on a group discount rate. A review by an attendee is below:

It was brilliant.  It is the story of the day the planes hit the Twin Towers and then the days that followed. It is told from different perspectives in a really compelling narrative that had me gripped for the 110 minutes (another bonus - no interval so home earlier than usual which is handy on a school night with work the next day). For such a tragic set of events (you cannot help but remember the horror you felt yourself when you saw the planes hit the towers via TV screens on that day) there is much humour in the interactions and the choreography of movement to illustrate the setting is really well done. It might be a musical but it feels more like a group of friends telling you what happened to them on a holiday that went wrong, in a way that will stay in your memory for a long time.

The Queen's Tower tours are now fully booked and have been removed from our Event listing.

The Support Services Summer Party took place on Tuesday 16 July 2019. The theme was Ibiza@Imperial. Below are a selection of photo's. All photograph's have been uploaded onto Asset Library.
