About Imperial College London:

Imperial College London is the UK’s only university focussed entirely on science, engineering, medicine and business and we are consistently rated in the top 10 universities in the world.

You will find our main London campus in South Kensington, with our hospital campuses located nearby in West and North London. We also have Silwood Park in Berkshire and state-of-the-art facilities in development at our major new campus in White City.

We work in a multidisciplinary and diverse community for education, research, translation and commercialisation, harnessing science and innovation to tackle the big global challenges our complex world faces.

It’s our mission to achieve enduring excellence in all that we do for the benefit of society – and we are looking for the most talented people to help us get there.

Duties and responsibilities

You will support the Departmental Manager and Unit Director in the strategic and operational planning, and coordination of the broad range of projects and initiatives conducted by the AGE Research Unit. You will have a key role in ensuring the Unit delivers research programmes to a high standard and that the activities of the unit are coordinated and managed in line with College and HRA policies and any other regulatory requirements, and will act in an expert advisory role to Investigators and researchers in the unit.

You should have proven clinical research experience, particularly in project management and coordinating operational planning and regulatory requirements. Strong communication will be needed, to work with, support and advise the full range of unit staff and our collaborators and contacts; and organisational skills to prioritise a diverse range of tasks and manage competing demands.

Please check that you meet all Essential Criteria in the Person Specification section of the Job Description before completing your application form.
