The Institute of Global Health Innovation (IGHI) aims to develop cutting-edge solutions to the challenges faced by healthcare systems and to elicit transformational improvement in the quality and equity of patient care and population health and wellbeing.

IGHI attracts a strong cohort of students and scholars across its educational and academic programmes and continues to advance a broadening research agenda, which encompasses new and impactful interdisciplinary centres of excellence.

The Institute delivers postgraduate programmes in Health Policy, Patient Safety, Design in Healthcare and Digital Health Leadership. It is pursuing an ambitious digital transformation strategy, offering all of the programmes in an online or blended learning format to maximise their global impact.

To help assure the successful delivery of the programmes, we require a motivated, and enthusiastic Head of the Health Policy and Patient Safety Programme to lead a dynamic team of educators. You will be a key member of the programmes’ team and will successfully lead the operations to ensure the effective delivery of the programmes. You will be an effective project manager who can manage and lead on a range of activities with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with new and existing collaborators

Duties and responsibilities

You will have a primary role in leading the development and delivery of the Health Policy and Patient Safety programmes, working with the established team of professionals that initially developed the programme. You will lead operations for the programme, including working with key stakeholders on recruitment and admissions, and will contribute to a strategic review of the programme content, implementing improvement actions for the next iteration of the programme.

Essential requirements

We are seeking a motivated individual with experience in an education leadership role and knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in education and in healthcare. You will possess excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal relationship skills with the ability to direct substantial programmes of work and coordinate teams in multi-partner collaborations.
