Dr Nick Jones (Mathematics)

Vaccine hesitancy and other health sentiments are a core problem for obtaining high national vaccine coverage. Using latent factor approaches we seek to identify the characteristics underpinning health sentiment, how they link to outcomes and how they might be controlled. This draws on work by the Jones group examining vaccine hesitancy using large international surveys [1,2],  in linking vaccine coverage rates to national-level statistics [3,4] and current work on probing this in a subnational context in India and the UK.
