researchers talk by poster

The annual Postgraduate Research Day is the flagship event of the NHLI Research Student calendar. It is an opportunity for all NHLI PhD and MD(Res) students to present their work to fellow students and staff in the department, and a chance for research students to network with postdocs, supervisors and other staff and students.

It is an excellent opportunity for students to socialise with peers and present their work as well as experience the format and requirements of a scientific meeting. Monetary prizes for the best oral and best poster presentations are awarded by a panel of judges composed of academics, postdocs and students. Supervisors, lab members, postdocs are also invited and encouraged to attend thus creating good networking opportunities and the ambiance of a scientific meeting.

In light of the current move to remote working due to COVID-19 we will be scheduling the next PGR Day once we have sight of a date that everyone can meet back on campus. Further updates will be provided when possible.
