The Medical Education Research Unit (MERU) directly conducts and supports innovative medical education research to inform, enhance and evaluate our teaching and curriculum. The MERU research community is a multidisciplinary group made up of staff of Imperial College London, our many NHS partners, and our sister unit in the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine in Singapore, as well as students who are passionate about medical education research for student-centred learning and teaching solutions. Members’ research has been published in national and international healthcare journals and presented at international conferences.
What can MERU do for you?
You may already be actively engaged in education research with a project that you would like to do, but frustrated by a lack of manpower, time or money. Perhaps you are a current Imperial student who wants to get involved in some education research but doesn’t know where to begin. Or you have an interesting idea for a project that you would like to explore but have never done any education research before. MERU can assist you in getting your project off the ground.
