Current Opportunities in NGNI
PhD Studentships
The Next Generation Neural Interfaces (NGNI) lab is looking for talented and motivated individual(s) wishing to pursue original research leading to a PhD degree. You will join a multidisciplinary close-knit team developing next generation implantable brain machine interfaces. For further details on the research vision see: ENGINI project pages
Specific focus will be on:
- Microfabrication and/or microsystems engineering
- Ultra low power and/or RF microelectronics
Past relevant experience is highly desirable but not essential. Ideal candidates from an engineering/scientific background - e.g. EEE/bioengineering/physics. Funding opportunities exist for high-calibre UK and EU candidates.
