AB - Quantitative imaging has potential to improve the reliability of damage detection over traditional reflection imaging. However, it is particularly prone to severe artefacts when only a limited aperture is used to measure data. We have introduced VISCIT, the virtual image space component iterative technique, to address this, providing significantly more accurate velocity map reconstructions from both numerical and experimental data.
