Specific users, such as Business Process Owners and Subject Matter Experts, will be asked to review and approve business processes that have been mapped by others in the BPMS. This is part of the official process governance cycle. 

Each time you are asked to respond, you will receive an automated email and a new notification will also appear in the top right corner of the Nimbus home page.

To respond to a Review Request

To respond to a Review Request:

  1. Open the notification or email and follow the link to view the process map or diagram via your web browser.

  2. Scroll to the process diagram and review it fully, to ensure that you are happy with its content and any attachments.

  3. When you are ready to submit review feedback, click the Review button at the top of the screen.  (Note that you may be asked to review multiple diagrams within a map separately. Check the scope of your notification to see precisely what you are being asked to review.)

5. Your notification alert will now disappear and your response will be captured in the audit information for the process review.

To respond to an Authorisation Request

To respond to an Authorisation Request

  1. Open the notification or email and follow the link to view the process map or diagram via your web browser.

  2. Review it fully, to ensure that you are happy with its content and any attachments.

  3. When you are ready to submit your Authorisation response, scroll to the top of the screen and select either Accept or Reject.   (Note that you may be asked to authorise multiple diagrams within a map independently. Check the scope of your notification to see precisley what you are being asked to review.)

4. Categorise your authorisation using the drop-down box, and use the comments to elaborate upon your decision.

5. Your response will be audited and captured in the governance workflow for each map or diagram that you are asked to authorise.
