Space Data Insights Group Launch
The Space Data Insights Group aims to bring together internal expertise representing Faculties, Departments and those delivering space-related services to embed the use of related data and tools to identify insights, share good practice and identify opportunities for the use of space related data.
The Group will use their collective knowledge and skills to identify opportunities for and issues arising from Space data sources to ensure we have widely acceptable credible space data that can be used to support decision making as the College develops its resources to meet the planned student growth.
- Undertake analyses and identify themes of strategic importance.
- Share insights from the sustained use of the Space data tools.
- Identify gaps in data and analytics capability, act as the sponsoring group for enhancements.
Available in 15 buildings on South Kensington Campus, the software provides real time information to show real time availability.
The room booking system (Planon) has reporting functionality that can provide data regarding the use of meeting rooms across College.
Timetabling Quality Metrics (TQM)
TQM helps to evaluate compliance of publishing and developing timetables with the Academic Timetabling Policy.
There are a range of Estate Operations data that could be analysed to explore emerging themes.
