Summary
Amanda Baladi is the Administrator of the Centre for Rapid Online Analysis of Reactions (ROAR). As the Centre’s Administrator, Amanda provides support to new and returning clients, and facilitates client interactions with Imperial College’s Research Services, including Imperial Consultants (ICON) and the Industry Partnerships and Commercialisation (IPC) team. Amanda supports logistical aspects of the Centre, including finance and contracting, and arranges promotional events, including conferences and workshops, as well as individual consultations for clients with the facility’s experts.
Amanda has previously worked within the College’s Faculty of Medicine as Specialty Cluster Administrator in the National Institute for Health Research’s (NIHR) Clinical Research Network Coordinating Centre (CRNCC). In this role, Amanda supported National and Regional Leads across a range of health specialties (Cardiovascular Disease, Diabetes, Metabolic and Endocrine Disorders, Renal Disorders, and Stroke) to facilitate delivery and development of the Specialties’ CRN Portfolios, expand commercial health research in the UK, and encourage patient participation in research and specialty meetings.
