I am currently a PDRA working for Dr. Jason Hallett in the Department of Chemical Engineering. Broadly, I am working on stabilizing enzymes in ionic liquids, with the aim of creating stable biocatalysts for biomass treatment.

My research interests include the following:

  • Protein modification
  • Biophysics of proteins and enzymes in nonaqueous environments
  • Ionic liquid biocatalysis
  • Biomaterials
  • Nanobiotechnology
