Summary

Angus B. Clark is a Research Associate in the Department of Bioengineering at Imperial College London within the Musculoskeletal Mechanics Lab. His current research revolves around the development of low-cost prosthetic devices for Low- and Middle-Income Countries (LMICs).

His research interests includes the development of variable stiffness adaptable robot arms (also known as Malleable Robots), in-hand manipulation focused grippers, underwater robotic propulsion and grasping, and exoskeletons and prosthetics.

Angus studied for his PhD in the Dyson School of Design Engineering at Imperial College London within the REDS Lab. Here, his research focused on the development of Malleable Robots, a type of reconfigurable serial robot manipulator. Before joining Imperial, Angus completed an MEng in Mechanical Engineering with Mechatronics at the University of Southampton in the department of Mechanical Engineering.
