Summary

My interests lie at the intersection of emerging digital technologies and air quality communication.

I am interested in the use of apps, smartphones and digital devices as communication and research tools.

I have designed and developed several air quality apps including LondonAir, CityAir (for City of London), SarajevoAir (for United Nations), Canairy (for British Safety Council) cleanairroutes.london (for Cross River partnership) and Airwaze for a PhD studentship.

I am part of the Measurement team at ERG with deep experience of air quality measurement and reporting. I have expanded the London Air Quality Network into businesses, business improvement districts, and estate owners.

I am passionate about communicating air quality to the public and have appeared on every major broadcast network over the years. I have also collaborated with artists, architects and theatre makers on air quality projects including:

Kasia Molga - Human Sensor (Invisible Dust)

Brian Logan - Fog Everywhere (Camden People's Theatre/Wellcome)

FCB Studios - Pea Soup House (RIBA)

Hubbub & Climate and Cities - Pollution Pavilion

Team London Bridge - Fresh Air Squares (TfL)

Current projects include the development of the new BreatheLondon network and working with a consortium of large employers on reducing employee exposure.

I recently discussed the Breathe London network on this episode of the Imperial Podcast

I was recently profiled as part of the Imperial People series.
