Summary
I am a research associate working with Colin Cotter and Jon Hill on parallel-in-time computation for sedimentary landscapes. In this project, we will design, analyse and implement parallel-in-time integration methods for stratigraphic models that simulate formation of sedimentary rock over geological time. This work is funded by EPSRC and the Department of Mathematics at Imperial College London.
I obtained my PhD from Memorial University of Newfoundland under the supervision of Scott MacLachlan, where we developed mixed finite-element methods and Monolithic multigrid solvers for a range of high-order PDEs and smectic A liquid crystal models. This work is in collaboration with Patrick Farrell.
