Dr Chun Ann Huang

Faculty of EngineeringDepartment of Materials

Senior Lecturer in Energy Storage Materials

Royal School of MinesSouth Kensington Campus

Ann Huang completed her undergraduate study in Materials Science and Engineering with First Class Honours at Imperial College London and DPhil in Materials Science at the University of Oxford. She joined Imperial from King's College London where she was a Lecturer. She has been awarded ERC Starting Grant, EPSRC UKRI Innovation Fellowship and Faraday Institution Industry Fellowship.

Her research includes sustainable manufacturing technologies of energy devices (e.g. lithium ion batteries, sodium ion batteries, solid-state batteries, supercapacitors), energy materials and advanced characterisation.
