Summary

Summary

Ann Huang completed her undergraduate study in Materials Science and Engineering with First Class Honours at Imperial College London and DPhil in Materials Science at the University of Oxford. She joined Imperial from King's College London where she was a Lecturer. She has been awarded ERC Starting Grant, EPSRC UKRI Innovation Fellowship and Faraday Institution Industry Fellowship. She is also a co-I of the Faraday Institution research programmes “Battery Degradation” and “Electrode Manufacturing”.

Her research includes sustainable manufacturing technologies of energy devices (e.g. lithium ion batteries, sodium ion batteries, solid-state batteries, supercapacitors), energy materials and advanced characterisation.

Prospective students/researchers

I welcome discussions from prospective students and researchers interested in joining our research group.

PhD scholarship with full funding and stipend may be available through separate application (next round deadline before 10 Jan 2023). Please send a CV and 1 page cover letter to a.huang@imperial.ac.uk.
