Summary

Contributing to world-leading research in epidemiology of familial hypercholesterolaemia (FH) as a published co-author (THE LANCET), I manage operations of the Imperial-led EAS FH Studies Collaboration (FHSC) global registry of 70K participants spanning 74 countries (ClinicalTrials.gov ID: NCT04272697).

The impact of our worldwide collaborative research is expected to empower the medical and global communities to seek changes in countries and organisations regarding how FH is detected and managed, with a view to promoting early diagnosis and more effective treatment of this condition.

External Advisor to the Lipid Registry of Africa (LIPRA).
