I am working on multi-omics approaches for identification of biomarkers and biological pathways to cardiovascular diseases and ageing. I am particularely interested in metabolome-wide association studies (MWAS), metabolomic GWAS (mGWAS) and genetically determined metabotypes (GDM), and Mendelian Randomisation (MR) studies for finding causal genetic associations. I mainly work with large-scale population-based data and large international collaborative studies.
