Dr Andreas-Antonios Roussakis is Clinical Project Manager at the National Heart & Lung Institute of the Faculty of Medicine and Clinical Operations Lead at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

Dr Roussakis is primarily responsible for the regulatory, financial and operational aspects of clinical research in the area of pulmonary arterial hypertension (EME Programme, and NIHR/MRC partnership). He has a leading role in planning, and day-to-day management. Dr Roussakis has significant experience in designing, managing and conducting clinical research involving both patients and healthy volunteers. He graduated from the Medical School of Athens and was awarded a PhD degree in Medicine by Imperial College London. He was trained in Neurology/Movement Disorders at the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

Dr Roussakis has scientific expertise in degenerative disorders and nuclear medicine imaging, as well as substantial teaching experience. He is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (Advance HE, UK).
