Anne-Marie Russell is a post-doctoral researcher with interests in mixed methodological approaches incorporating qualitative research in Interstitial Lung Diseases (ILD) and chronic pulmonary conditions. Her work focuses on health metrics: the development and validation of an Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) specific Patient Reported Experience Measure (PREM) and Patient Reported Outcome Measure (PRoM) and testing the reliability of the Patient Activation Measure (PAM) in an ILD population. Anne-Marie's work is underpinned by patient centered approaches and patent collaboration.
The 12 item IPF-PROM is undergoing further validation in UK; Eire; US and South American; it has been translated into Danish German Spanish and Portuguese. Digital versions are incorporated into the Care Information exchange portal at Imperial College Healthcare Trust and the Patient MPower App.
