Summary
My work focuses on improving and developing mathematical models to estimate the contribution of different sources of risk to HIV incidence in a range of populations and settings. I am especiially interested in undertanding the HIV epidemic among key populations to better inform prevention programmes. Previously my work focused on the key populations of Latin America and involved developing mathematical models to study the epidemic among prison inmates in Peru and to investigate the potential impact of pre-exposure prophylaxis among men who have sex with men in Lima.
