I am a Reader in Power Systems based in the Control and Power research group. My current research is on the stability and control of electric power grids with high shares of variable renewable energy and inverter-based resources.
I am the UK Director of the Global Center on Electric Power Innovation for a Carbon-free Society (EPICS). I co-lead the workforce development activities of the Global Power System Transformation (G-PST) consortium. I served as an editor of IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid, IEEE Systems Journal and Elsevier Control Engineering Practice.
I'm the Director of the MSc program in Future Power Networks at Imperial College.
