Summary

Summary

I am currently the British Heart Foundation Chair in Cardiovascular Science at the Imperial College.

Our team develops fundamental and transnational research focusing on ischaemic disease, cardiac remodeling and diabetes cardiovascular complications. We investigate the molecular causes underpinning cardiovascular disease with the aim to develop novel approaches of protection and repair.

We are part of local, national and international research initiatives and happy to discuss new collaborations. We are also involved in teaching and supervision of master and PhD students.

Our team embraces the EDI principles and is invested in supporting early career scientists as well as the wider scientific community and society via targeted dissemination activities
