Summary

Cassandra is a Chemistry PhD student in the Tate Group through the Institute of Chemical Biology. Before joining Imperial in 2016 for a Master of Research in Chemical Biology, Cassandra graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford, with a Master of Chemistry. In her PhD, Cassandra is synthesising and using chemical probes to understand how an inflammatory type of cell death called pyroptosis is regulated, supervised by Professor Ed Tate and Dr Avinash Shenoy. Outside of the lab, Cassandra is a subwarden at Beit Hall, and a Mental Health First Aider.
