Dr Carlos Pozo (CP) is a Research Associate at the Centre for Process Systems Engineering (CPSE) at Imperial College (IC) with a PhD in systems biology from the University Rovira i Virgili in Spain. He has extensive experience in multi-objective optimization and in environmental assessment having successfully participated in over 20 projects (Co-I). He has also experience on determining the carbon footprint of processes or entities via Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). Furthermore, he is an expert in the field of mathematical programming, with proved experience in global optimization, disjunctive programming, optimization of differential equations and decomposition strategies among others. He has published 15 papers in peer-review journals, 4 book chapters, and 19 contributions to congresses, including two keynotes.
