Summary
Celine Tabche is a teaching fellow and postgraduate researcher in the School of Public Health at Imperial College London. She has a background in Biology from the American University of Beirut (AUB) and a Master's degree in Eating Disorders and Clinical Nutrition from the University College London (UCL). She is certified as an Associate Nutritionist and a fellow of higher education in the UK. She is also a Member of the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) and an Associate Faculty of Public Health (FPH) member.
Currently, Celine is working with the WHO Collaborating Centre at Imperial College to assist WHO with various projects in Public Health. Examples of these projects include setting up a public health academy in KSA and assisting in the research to develop a competency framework for the emergency workforce with WHO.
She has taught many short courses at the centre and helps the faculty in marking student assessments (MPH, GMPH, MSc). She has been working on multiple reports and articles involving emergency preparedness, rapid response team training, global burden of disease, bariatric surgery and obesity, infectious diseases, the public health system, health policies, health system resilience and development, medical education, and many more.
Celine has given multiple conference talks on preventative medicine and nutrition and has over three years of experience in clinical nutritional consultation. She is an active member and Board Secretariat for the Arab Public Health Association (ArPHA) and an international member of NNedPro. She also works with the International Association of Medical Colleges (IAOMC).
