Summary

Summary

I am a Research Assistant within the Vaccine Epidemiology Research Group in the Department of Infectious Disease Epidemiology. My work mainly focuses on PCR and Nanopore sequencing of poliovirus for detection in stool and environmental samples. More recently my work also includes optimising an amplicon sequencing based method for genotyping and identifying AMR genes in Salmonella Typhi.

Before coming to Imperial, I briefly worked as a Laboratory Assistant in the Molecular Labs at the Natural History Museum London, and also completed an MSc in Molecular Medicine at the University of Sheffield.
