Summary
Chuanzi holds a BSc, MSc, MRes, and PhD in Economics from the University of Bristol, with a focus on Empirical Industrial Organization (I.O.) and Health Economics. His research explores the spillovers of prescription drug insurance on pharmaceutical pricing, financing and consumer welfare, as well as the impact of central drug price bargaining on local healthcare corruption in China. Currently, he collaborates with Professor Marissa Miraldo on the Hi-prix project at the Center for Health Economics and Policy Innovation (CHEPI), investigating policy incentives for pharmaceutical innovation. Chuanzi is committed to evidence-based research that informs healthcare policies and contributes to positive societal changes. He also enjoys mentoring aspiring graduate researchers, nurturing curiosity and lifelong learning.
