Summary

Summary

I joined Imperial in April 2008 and I provide data and software support for high throughput biological experiments performed within Imperial. including the Imperial Hospitals Trust Tissue Bank. I have been involved in providing software and hardware support for science for over twenty five years and during this time I have worked variously with Psychologists, Economists, Physicists, Health Care Professionals, Computer Scientists and Biologists. In 1999, I was a part of the team that designed the 3G spectrum auction for mobile phone frequencies that eventually netted the UK government over £20 billion in revenue. I graduated with an MSc in Knowledge Based Systems from Heriot Watt University in 1993 and a Ph.D. in Parallel Computing from UCL in 1999.

In my role in the Faculty of Medicine, I can help you to manage your research data effectively. This could be by building bespoke databases, analysis pipelines and / or data visualisations or by recommending software products that will enable you to get the most out of your data. Over the years, I have worked with many different research groups within the Faculties of Natural Sciences and Medicine, have many exemplar projects that I can demonstrate and can provide testimonials from satisfied clients.
