Overview
My research is focused on multi-agent systems (MAS), and more specifically to multi-agent resource allocation, focusing on mechanisms for distributing resources and the inclusion of fairness and other justice aspects. I'm also interested in self-organising and self-adaptive systems, Intelligent Transportation Systems and market-based mechanisms.
In the past I worked on the application of MAS to robotics, both for single robot control and coordination of teams of robots.
Event organisation
In the past I've been busy organising:
- Workshop on Computationally Adapted { Laws | Policies | Norms } for Self-Organising Systems (CAOS 2013), to be held at SASO 2013.
- Tutorial on Formal Models of Social Processes: The Pursuit of Computational Justice in Self-Organising Multi-agent Systems, to be held at SASO 2013.
- Workshop on Technologies for the Organisation, Adaptation and Simulation of Transporation Systems (TOASTS 2012), held at SASO 2012.
- 13th European Agent Systems Summer School (EASSS 2011), held in Girona during July 11-15 2011.
