GEOMED 2013
GEOMED 2013 was the 8th international interdisciplinary conference on spatial epidemiology, spatial statistics and geomedical systems.
My participation involved presenting on 'Using GIS and Cartograms as a Health Service Quality Improvement Tool'. The conference allowed me to demonstrate research I was undertaking and accummulate feedback and comments on the methods used.
In addition, it proved to be an excellent networking opportunity, meeting a variety of individuals from backgrounds in academia, industry and service implementation.
