Summary
Research
Dr Mann's lab is applying chemical biology techniques to cancer models, particularly those relating to cell proliferation and signal transduction. Many cancers exhibit aberrant signalling and the enzymes involved can make excellent targets for therapeutic intervention. We aim to generate chemical probes for key oncogenes and tumour suppressors to investigate their function and to act as starting points for therapeutic intervention.
