Daniel is a research PhD student based in the Centre for Environmental Policy.

Modelling London's Road Transport: What is the impact of Electric Vehicles: The road transport fleet in London is now transitioning towards zero-emissions. A framework for modelling the effects of this transition needs to be created to accurately predict the changes in air quality, total emissions, electricity demand and infrastructure. Daniel is researching this issue and developing the framework to answer key questions surrounding this topic. He is supervised by Prof Helen ApSimon, Dr Iain Staffell and Dr Marc Stettler.

Daniel's research is funded by NERC and the Department for Transport and is aligned to the Science and Solutions for a Changing Planet DTP at the Grantham Institute.

Daniel holds an MEng from the University of Cambridge in Electrical and Information Engineering and has specialist knowledge in electrical systems and modelling.
