Modelling London's Road Trasnport

The transport fleet in London is now transitioning towards zero-emissions. A framework for modelling the effects of this transition needs to be created to accurately predict the changes in air quality, emissions, energy demand and infrastructure. Daniel is developing this framework using models used within Imperial to answer key questions on issues based on Electric Vehicles.

Scenario Development

The effect of EVs and ULEVs in London will depend on a range of variables such as the fleet composition, traffic flows, and the composition of energy production, thus comprehensive scenarios will need to be formulated to model the future of London’s road transport.
