AB - This paper describes a new and inexpensive approach for specific sensing of endogenous concentrations of miRNAs extracted from blood, based on a fluorogenic oligonucleotide templated reaction (OTR) on a lateral flow assay (LFA). Our method is then applied to develop the first early screening test for Preterm birth.
