Summary

I am currently a postdoctoral research associate in the Complex Nanophotonics Group led by Dr. Riccardo Sapienza.

My current research is on developing integrated lasers that can be used for on-chip optical data transmission and computing. I have over 10 years of research experience in nanophotonics, in particular in developing novel nanolasers and random lasers.

I did my PhD in Physics from the Australian National University and BSc in Applied Mathematics from the University of Sydney. I moved to London for postdoctoral research and was awarded a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship to invent semiconductor network lasers.

My current research, which is funded by UKRI EPSRC, advances the research undertaken during his fellowship. In partnership with groups at IBM Zurich, University of Ghent, Imperial Maths and Trinity College Dublin, I am investigating complex lasers that can be controlled and programmed.
