Summary
Elaine Fuertes is currently an Imperial College Research Fellow at the NHLI. Her research focuses on investigating the influence of environmental and behavioural factors, and their interaction, on the development of childhood and adult allergic diseases and respiratory health.
Elaine received her PhD from the School of Public Health at the University of British Columbia, Canada (2014). Prior to her doctoral training, she received a Master of Science in Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. Throughout these experiences, Elaine has worked and collaborated with several research institutes within Canada and across Europe.
