Dr Evangelos Gazis is a Research Associate based at Imperial College London. He is currently part of the Energy Strategy Fellowship team for the UK Research Councils led by Professor Jim Skea, assessing the effectiveness of different technological and national energy innovation systems across the world.

Prior to this post, Evangelos worked at Climate KIC RENJET (Renewable Jet Fuel Supply Chain and Flight Operations) and SUPERGEN PV21 (Photovoltaic Materials for the 21st Century) projects, conducting research on innovation dynamics within different sustainable energy sectors.

Evangelos acquired his PhD from the University of Edinburgh with a thesis titled: Development and Di ffusion of Building-Integrated Photovoltaics: Analysing Innovation Dynamics in Multi-Sectoral Technologies. He also holds an MEng in Electrial and Computer Engineering and an MSc with Distinction in Sustainable Energy Systems.
