PYQUICKBEAM - Radar simulation in python

Do you want to simulate radar reflectivity profiles from model output? Of course you do!

pyQuickBeam is a simple way to do this, providing a simulator equivalent to QuickBeam v1.1a. This is approximately equivalent to the radar simulator in COSPv2, but can handle a variety of droplet size distribution.

This simulator was used in White et al. (ACP, 2017) to produce the figure below.
