Summary

Eleni joined the College in April 2014 as the Veolia Resources Management Research Coordinator .

Prior to joining the College, Eleni worked in the Centre for Environmental Strategy (CES) at the University of Surrey where she planned, produced and coordinated research work for a European project on Creating Innovative Sustainability Pathways (CRISP). Before joining CES, Eleni worked on a post-doctoral research project for Anglian Water Services, on assessing the viability of fuel cells for the Anglian Water operations.

Eleni gained a PhD in Environmental Research from Imperial College London, specialising in waste and resource management. She also holds an MSc in Environmental Protection Technologies from the University of Crete, Greece, specialising in the occurrence and variation of semi-volatile organic compounds (SVOCs) in the background atmosphere of Eastern Mediterranean.
