Summary

Emma is the Project Manager for the MRC Precision Medicine Consortium (https://www.mimah.org/) and supports Professor Mark Thursz, Head of the Department of Metabolism, Digestion and Reproduction. 

She also provides research support for Professor Maud Lemoine, Head of the Division of Digestive Diseases and the PROLIFICA research group (http://www.prolifica.africa/) and provides guidance for academics in the Department of Metabolism, Digestion and Reproduction.

Prior to this role, Emma worked at NHS England and NHS Improvement in the Genomics Unit. She has held positions at Imperial College Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) and BioMed Central (Springer Nature).

Emma undertook her PhD in human ophthalmic genetics in the Vision Research Group at the University of Leeds and has an undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of York.
