Summary
Esther is a qualified Mechanical Engineer (MEng from University College London) and an Industrial Designer (MDes (RCA) from the Royal College of Art and Imperial College).
Esther has over ten years' industrial experience in engineering projects, from concept generation stage through to high volume manufacture in a wide range of industries (architecture, point of sale, pharmaceuticals and medical devices).
She joined the academic sector in 2005 as a Senior Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at London South Bank University, specialising in Engineering Design, Manufacture, Professional Engineering, Quality Management and Computer Aided Design.
She was promoted to Principal Lecturer and Subject Area Leader for Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering in 2010.
Esther joined the Deaprtment of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Imperial College in February 2014 as a Principal Teaching Fellow and Senior Tutor.
Esther speaks Spanish (mother tongue), English (bilingual) and French (intermediate).
