Elena is a Senior Health Economist with expertise in Economic Evaluation and HTA. She has been a Research Associate in the Imperial College Business School  from 2009 to 2014, before moving to University College London.

She is currently a Visiting Lecturer at Imperial College, where she occasionally teaches Health Economics and Economic Evaluation for the Master of Public Health and the International Health Management MSc. 

Elena holds a PhD in Economics and Management from Padua University, an MSc degree in Economics and Management of Health Care Services from Ferrara University and a BSc in Economics from Padua University.

She is particularly interested in economic evaluation of health care technologies and interventions, clinical decision analysis and, more generally, in measurement of health and in efficiency and distributional aspects of health policy.
