Asa joined I-X and the IBP team at Imperial College Enterprise as the I-X Client Engagement Executive. By working with industry partners and cultivating relationships with the emerging I-X community, this role focuses on creating meaningful connection between I-X community and I-X Business Partners. She has 12 years of experience in senior stakeholder engagement in a number of different operations, project management and communications roles. While in Taiwan, Asa served as an official government representative for the 2017 International Asia-Pacific Industrial Collaboration Summits. She co-led the event organisation and monitored the event’s organisational progress for the Summit in the Philippines. She also served as a Project Management Specialist to co-monitor a national level industrial and research development programme. She was the Centre Manager at the NTU-NTUH-MEDIATEK Innovative Medical Electronics Research Centre (IMERC) formed of 3 renowned organisations (National Taiwan University (NTU), NTU Hospital and MediaTek) for a large-scale commercial R&D collaboration programme. She was responsible for managing the entire administrative operations of the centre and was the primary point of contact for all collaborators across three organisations. Over the past 5 years, she worked as the centre manager and research group officer at the Centre for Higher Education Research and Scholarship (CHERS) / Educational Development Unit (EDU) and the Hamlyn Centre in Imperial College, liaising with various departments and faculties across the College, including Department of EEE, Computing, Surgery & Cancer, FoE and FoM). She also closely worked with the research team of the EPSRC programme grant Micro-Robotics for Surgery (EP/P012779/1). Asa holds three degrees, including two MSc degrees and one BBA. In particular, she has an MSc in Management, an MSc in Scientific, Technical, and Medical Translation with Translation Technology (from UCL), and a Bachelor of Business Administration.
