Summary
Eliane Gendreau was a PhD student at Imperial College London, Department of Mechanical Engineering, in the Tribology group, from 2018 to 2023. Eliane did her PhD under the supervision of Dr. Janet Wong. Her PhD research focused on the effect of polymer architecture on the performance of viscosity modifiers. The project was funded by Shell University Technology Centre for Fuels and Lubricants.
Eliane graduated from the École Centrale de Lyon (France) in 2017. She spent her final year of studies as an exchange student at Imperial College London, in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. During that year, she did a research project on the study of additive transport from fuel to oil, using microfluidics.
In 2021, Eliane was awarded the Elmer E. Klaus Fellowship for graduate students by the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE).
